Lillias – Daughter of Jacob McNaught Spittel of Auchentulloch & Grace McMurrich his Spouse was born and baptised on 11 July following

Lilias McNaught married James McAuslane Steele on 28th June 1892 in Glasgow.

Lillias was familiarly known as Lily, as evidenced by the 1901 census.

Lillias Steele, married to James McAuslane Steele, baker (master), died on 2nd November 1928 at 0h 50m am, at 65, Barfillan Drive, Glasgow. Her age was entered as 74. The cause of death was certified as carcinoma of the breast. The informant on the same day at Glasgow was John Steele, the deceased’s son, of 81, Barlogan Avenue, Glasgow, entered as present.
