William Archibald Baird was born on 2^nd November 1887 at 2^h 40^m pm, at Charleville, Uddingston. The informant on 18^th November at Bothwell was M. B. Baird, the child’s father.

William died in the First World War in 1916. Although ‘the late Matthew Barr Baird’ is referred to in this connection, Matthew did not die until December of that year.
