Following it we reported to our client. Without prejudice, we are instructed by him to state that he will accept a sum of £1,000 now, interest on the balance half-yearly, and the principal of the balance when your client’s life policies mature, or at such earlier date as may suit your client. We appreciate that the policies are whole life policies. If your client is prepared to accept these terms please let us know and the judicial proceedings will not be carried further and the arrestment will be withdrawn, on receipt of your cheque.
