Mungo Chapman Stuart Brown |
1st June 1872 - 19th July 1883 |
He died on 19th July 1883 at Auchterneed, Foderty, Ross & Cromarty. He was eleven years of age. The cause
of death was certified as inflammation of the lungs, from which he had been suffering for one month. The informant
was Peter Stuart Brown, the boy’s father, who was not present at the time of
death. It may be surmised that Mungo had been taken or sent to the Highlands in the hope that it would have a
beneficial effect on his health.
Mungo Chapman Stuart Brown, the second son of Peter Stuart Brown and
Elizabeth Chapman, was born on 1st June 1872 at 1h
30m am, at what appears to be Drumcrow Road, Bathgate.
