James McAslan calico printer Duke Street & Christian Ritchie had a lawful daughter their 6th child born 24th July 1829 Bapt. Augt 1829 named Margaret David Mathieson & Wm McDonald, wit.

At the time of the 1851 census record, Margaret was living in the family home in Susannah Street, Alexandria. Her age was recorded as 20 but no occupation was given.

In 1861, Margaret was a milliner and her age was given as 26.

Her whereabouts in 1871 and thereafter are unknown.
