Alicia, otherwise Alice, de Gordon was the wife of her cousin, one generation removed, Adam de Gordon,
great-great-grandson of the Adam de Gordon who died at Alnwick in 1093, and of whom the 1935 Pedigree of the
Gordon Family, from about 1050 records that she ‘granted Charters of Confirmation 1274, mentioning the last
three charters (infra)’.

Alicia’s father was Thomas de Gordon, who ‘granted four Charters 1230-1258 ; died about 1260’.
Thomas the younger’s father was also Thomas de Gordon, who ‘confirmed Charters, 1202 ; died 1230’.
The elder Thomas de Gordon’s father was Richard de Gordon, who ‘granted Charter to Kelso, and others, 1170’. It was
this Richard who had a brother, Adam, whose grandson, also Richard de Gordon, married Alicia / Alice.
Richard’s father was Adam de Gordon, who ‘granted Charter to Abbey of Kelso, 1130’.
Adam’s father was the Adam de Gordon who was ‘killed at siege of Alnwick, 1093’.
